Roles and what they can do

The six roles, which one to give whom, and a live view of what each role can read and change.

The roles

A person's membership in an organization carries one role. The role decides what they can read and change. A coordinator's membership can also be narrowed to some properties.

Example on the page: Pick a role. Live from the server's table. The same data as the matrix below, one role at a time.

A person can belong to several organizations with a different role in each. Someone can be a coordinator at your company and a viewer at a client. The app switches between them with the work-scope picker.

The access matrix

Read live from the server's own table. A pen means edit, which includes reading. An eye means read. The person mark means assigned only: the tasks the person is assigned to and the properties on them.

Example on the page: What each role can do. The same table opens from the member list under “What each role can do”. Hover a mark for its meaning.
